Georgia Nash began her fashion Journey when she was 12 years old. She created a top for her older sister. Her sister sadly passed away shortly after. It set a fire in her, how her sister wore it all the time with pride. It gave purpose to her creations for a lifetime.

She then was accepted to Westminster college after school to study Fashion and Textiles. She was given full creative freedom. The college was based in Camden town where it allowed her imagination to run wild. She then went on to become a Bachelor of the Arts in Fashion Design at Middlesex University in North London where she created one of the leading final collections and was recognised as one to watch. Whilst studying her degree, she worked for Nathan Jenden (Diane Von Frustenburg creative director) In London and Paris, and Lunsta de Fancy in London and New York. She did a stint at Huntsmann Saville row as well to learn about bespoke tailoring. After she graduated, she continued to work for both fashion houses. Then she worked for the prestigious Milliner Phillip Treacy where she learnt how to create bespoke hats. Whilst at Phillip Treacy she craved her own brand constantly. So with the full support of the great hatter, she left to launch her own brand.

She showcased her first collection at the historic Spitalfields East London where she gained the attention of the press. She set up her first little studio in Hackney downs and began building her brand. She obtained multiple boutiques worldwide as stockist and even had the epic Vogue call for a feature.

Her work has always focused on sustainability. The Georgia Nash brand champions being kind to the environment. From using deadstock and vintage fabric to upcycling garments and not mass producing. Her commitment is to ensure the garments that she produces support a brighter future for Mother Nature. This has been her promise to the world since day one.

After years of success, she became a mother. This moment in her life would completely change everything. Her daughter was born in 2019 which in turn set off a chain of events where she found herself fighting for her life. She became embroiled in a bitter custody battle where she was tragically separated from her child. After taking some time to rebuild after the devastation, the fight lit a fire in her soul to fight for other mothers and children who are destroyed by the family court system. She set out a massive goal – to create the biggest most significant collection of her life. A love letter to her daughter. A protest in the form of fashion to allow all the silenced women and children’s voices to be heard. A collection that embodies love, light, resilience, strength, emotions, darkness, hope and fight.

This collection has taken 4 years to build. This collection is the rebirth of Georgia Nash. Every garment has a story behind it. In her darkest moments she would create. In her moments of hope she would create. It is her and her daughter’s story in clothes.

Amazingly whist she was building it she did incredible bespoke clients, celebrity clients, commissions and editorials for huge publications.

Her work has been featured in Vogue, the Guardian and Look. Her bespoke garments have even made the Culture front cover of the Guardian. Her celebrity clients include Ameila Dimoldenburg, Suggs from madness, Jayde Adams, Beverly Knight, Nicola Roberts, Toya Wilcox, Daisy Mae cooper and Fleur East. She has styled a Beabadoobee amazon music video and created a sportswear collection for Unibet’s worldwide advertising campaign. She was commissioned to create a 24-window art installation comprising of giant fabric abstract sculptures for Burberry at Harrods London.

Her bespoke private clients are worldwide and have entrusted her even with the creation of their wedding dresses.

Another dream of hers, has always been to create a fashion school for the next generation of Designers which she has now achieved based at Beckenham Place Mansion.

With all her incredible achievements she is now highly recognised in the Fashion Industry as an exceptional Fashion designer who can create anything and everything.

She now resides in London. Right where she began her Fashion Journey.
